Kyuquot is located on Vancouver Island's rugged and beautiful
west coast on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada.
This area is very remote - you will require either seaplane
or water taxi to get here. The Brooks Peninsula and coves
and inlets of the west coast of Vancouver Island are well
known as a kayakers haven.
Brooks Peninsula Provincial Park is a 14 km
(9 mile) finger of land that juts out into the Pacific Ocean
on the west coast of Vancouver Island, northwest of Kyuquot.
This unique peninsula the only part of Vancouver Island
to escape the glaciers and is home to plant species found
nowhere else on earth.
